WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Coming into the last day of the 2018 Shotgun World Shoot, I was fourth for the Senior Category in Standard Division. Karin’s mental toughness training allowed me to perform under extreme pressure and give my best performance. It was good enough for a podium finish.
After taking the Mind Sights class with Karin I have come to realize that my shooting sport is 80% a mental game. If you cannot focus your mind on performance instead of outcome you will never reach your full potential.
As an athlete and a coach of many competitive sports people I see that there is more than physical training and biochemistry of the human body. Everyone sooner or later comes to that point where there is no way forward anymore. That´s the time you need a specialist to look at the mental aspects of your performance. More than once the cooperation with Karin helped my athletes to overcome this point and continue at a higher level.
Karin taught me the thin line to get into the right mental zone. The shooting is not always the problem, but thinking and the will to control the shooting is the problem.
Vital is the ‘just’ in just let it go and trust your focus.
Mental training with Karin helped me preparing directly before my speed climbing competitions. Together with her I developed my anchors and my power slogan for perfect speed runs.
With Karin working with me, she has made me know how I can be better at my mental game. And make me understand what she meant very easily. Really changing what I think of during my 90-180min ISSF matches to the better.
After i took the seminar with Karin I was able to implement mental training in my training program.
Making me more focussed and ready. Mentally but also physically.
Mental Training does not teach you not to feel anything bad, like being upset or angry. But you learn how to come back to your „zero line“ of emotions and continue with your performance as if nothing had happened.
